On his expectations for the Nigma vs. BB Team match
This season, I’ve probably watched more Nigma matches than anyone else. I’ve seen the team lose to Tier 3 squads, I’ve seen them throw away winnable matches, and now I have the honor of watching them on such a big stage—in the Top 8, against BB Team. I think they’re ready to deliver yet another upset.

On the heroes he expects to see in the match
Their roster has changed significantly. KuroKy said that two weeks before the TI qualifiers, they swapped out a lot of players. Their discipline has improved considerably. The team has started favoring unconventional picks—heroes with healing abilities. I expect Keeper of the Light if they pass on him; Necrophos, Viper. They have more similar options, but I think they’ll be targeting these ones.
On the matchup between lorenof and gpk
It depends on the heroes. gpk is perhaps the best laner of the past three years in terms of consistency. At the same time, lorenof is the most cunning and the best at adapting. If he gets the right hero, I’m even willing to bet money on lorenof.
The 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup is taking place in Paris from July 7 to 19; this time, the organizers are offering a $2 million prize pool. Of the twenty-four participants, only five remain at this point; one more will be eliminated following the series between “Nigma” and BB Team.
