HEROIC’s former esports director has announced he is looking for a job

Robin “Bumblebee” Neumann, HEROIC’s former esports director, announced on X that he is looking for a new job after leaving the organization and shared his experience in leadership roles within the industry.
I am currently looking for new opportunities.
Given the changes at HEROIC over the past few months and the fact that the company is now focused exclusively on its main Counter-Strike roster, it became clear that our ambitions no longer align.
I have two decades of experience in leadership roles in esports. I’ve built world-champion teams and led esports operations at some of the industry’s largest and most successful organizations, including:
- Chief Gaming Officer (CGO) and Director of Esports at HEROIC (2023–2026);
- Product leadership, publisher relations, and strategic direction at ESL FACEIT Group (2018–2023);
- Esports Director at Team Liquid (2010–2017).
If you’d like to discuss a potential collaboration, please contact me directly or via email.
Earlier, Robin “Bumblebee” Neumann commented on the disbandment of the Dota 2 roster: “Dota 2 is a challenging game from a business perspective, and at HEROIC, we hadn’t been able to achieve sustainable results for quite some time. I believe in this roster wholeheartedly, and the only reason for this decision is financial.”
