Ilya “Illidan” Pivtsaev, a coach for professional Dota 2 teams, discussed his move to Team Spirit Academy and the appointment of Daniil “MeTTpuM” Gilyov as Yellow Submarine’s coach during a stream.
Guys, in case anyone doesn’t know, I’m coaching Team Spirit Academy, and we’ve been playing in the EPL this whole time. We just finished playing it two days ago, and yesterday we finished reviewing the matches and were just watching them together. ...> “I thought you were on ‘Submarines’”—no, no, we swapped places with MeTTpuM; that’s just how it turned out.
At European Pro League Season 39, TSA finished in third place, losing to Nemiga Gaming 1–2. Yellow Submarine and the “Dragons” academy competed in the qualifiers for The International 2026 but were unable to secure European slots.
