kaffs: “We can still prove ourselves and put up a fight; we’re not giving up.”

In an interview ahead of the third map of the BLAST Slam VII Grand Final, the coaches of Team Yandex and LGD Gaming discussed the draft.
On the plan for the third game
kaffs: In my opinion, we still have plenty of energy; we have nothing to lose. We can still prove ourselves and put up a fight; we’re not giving up. This draft is right up our alley. We’ll see what happens.
Of course, [I’m glad we’ve come this far]. No one expected this. We knew we were capable of going further, but being in the final is a dream. For the first time in South American history at a Tier 1 tournament [Excluding PGL Wallachia Season 2. — Ed.]. We’ve already achieved a lot, and I’m looking at [the trophy].
On the sense of threat from opponents in the tournament
Accell: We did. We try to stay humble, reminding ourselves that we can both win and lose against anyone.
[Question: “Is this the draft that will bring you the trophy?”]
I hope so.
BLAST Slam VII runs from May 26 to June 7, with the tournament’s playoffs taking place at the organizers’ studio in the Danish capital. The participants are competing for a $1 million prize pool. If they win, Team Yandex will earn their third trophy in Tier 1 tournaments.
