On the victory over LGD Gaming
Yes, [we expected the match to be one-sided]. They aren’t the toughest opponent. We prepared well for the match; there were no issues.
On preparing for Nigma Galaxy
The guys are ready: heroes, character assessments. We feel confident.
[Question: “Aren’t you worried about any surprises, considering your opponent hasn’t played in about five days?”]
They’re the ones who should be worried: it gets tough if you don’t play any official matches for six days during a tournament. We were in that situation at the last Riyadh event, and sitting in a hotel for a week waiting for the playoffs was miserable.
The first map of the Nigma Galaxy vs. BetBoom Team match is currently underway. The loser will be eliminated from the competition, while the winner will face Vici Gaming in the semifinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup for Dota 2. The tournament runs through July 19, is taking place in Paris, and has a prize pool of $2 million.
