KJ on the match against Rune Eaters at the Games of the Future 2026 Dota 2 tournament: “I think it’ll be an interesting challenge.”

LGD Gaming support Mateusz “KJ” Santos Jungles Diniz spoke in an interview at the 2026 Games of the Future Dota 2 tournament about the tournament arena, commented on the second map against L1GA TEAM, and
About the 2026 Games of the Future
I feel good; I really like the arena—I think it’s a pleasant place to play. I like that you don’t need earbuds, just big headphones—you can hardly hear anything from outside, and it’s more comfortable that way.
On the second map against L1GA TEAM
I think we just completely lost our minds on the second map. We just made a bunch of mistakes and started digging our own graves, and then, as far as I remember, the game started feeling weird. The opposing team wasn’t doing anything at all, and we just threw the game away. So, damn, it was frustrating, but we managed to win the series.
On the upcoming match against Rune Eaters
I think it’ll be an interesting test; I’m really looking forward to it. It’s good that they’ve got great fans. Tomorrow I’ll give it my all—I don’t really think too much about stuff like that; I just go out there and play. I know this isn’t their original roster, so Rune Eaters will probably be a little weaker, but we’ll see how it goes.
The Rune Eaters vs. LGD Gaming match in the quarterfinals of Games of the Future 2026 will take place today at 6:00 p.m. Moscow time. The tournament’s total prize pool is $1,000,000, with $350,000 going to the first-place team.
