Team Spirit’s players and coaching staff shared their impressions of their performance at The International 2026 in a team vlog, and also discussed their preparations for the tournament’s final day and their series against Team Yandex in the lower bracket finals.
Larl: They have great timing and farm well. They don’t rush—in fact, they play at a leisurely pace. I’d say, just like all the remaining teams, they play to their own timing, wait for the right moment, and believe in their drafts and their ideas. These guys just don’t rush—they have their moments. Sometimes with Viper, sometimes with Io, sometimes with Necrophos, sometimes with Keeper of the Light.
Art1st: Tell us what it’s like to be in the arena—you’ve already played a lot of playoff games, in the arena and everything. Tell us about your feelings—maybe what you felt today. And why were the games so mediocre, a little boring?
not me: I was fully focused; I just felt like I was playing. It really felt like I was sitting at home.
Art1st: Do you ever look out at the arena at all when you’re playing?
not me: No, not really. Well, maybe just during drafts—like, you look over and go, “Whoa, that’s crazy.”
not me: Well, they seemed kind of out of it, like they’d given up. They just weren’t doing anything—that’s why the games were so easy. They were probably just tilted.
Art1st: Well, they’re probably tired—they played in the afternoon, and then they only had a little time to prepare for us, actually. It’s not like, well, how it is for us—maybe that’s why, I don’t know.
not me: I can’t say I enjoyed the game, and I can’t say the win felt particularly good. The guys are cool, but they were also on tilt. That’s why there’s not even any joy in it.
Art1st: By the way, did you get a good night’s sleep with that young man [Miposhka]?
MiLAN: No. Not at all. We’re just ready.
Art1st: What time did you go to bed yesterday?
MiLAN: Five or half past five.
Art1st: Right now we’re playing against Team Yandex. So, what do you think? They’ve been our little kryptonite all season, but they’ve slipped a bit. Right, Diman? Just a little bit...
Korb3n: Nah. They haven’t slacked off. Seriously, no. I mean, they’re in the top 3. What do you mean, “slacked off”? They’re in the top 3 in every tournament. As far as I know, they’ve only won one tournament, and in the rest they’ve been in the top 3.
Art1st: But their actual gameplay...
Korb3n: That’s a pretty subjective assessment of what “the game itself” means. Who did they play against? They played Nigma, they played Liquid. Those are pretty good teams, after all. Well, it’s just subjective stuff, like: they choked, they choked. Because you watch and think, “Well, there they go, they choked, they choked.” But in reality, they’re in the top 3, just like in a regular tournament. So I don’t entirely agree that they choked—that’s the first thing. And what about Kryptonite? Well, how many games did Yandex actually play with this specific roster? One?
Art1st: Yes.
Team Spirit became the champion of The International 2026, defeating PARIVISION (TEAM VISION) 3–2 in the grand final. The prize pool for the year’s main tournament totals $3,753,564—it’s funded by sales of support packs.
