LGD Gaming has advanced to the BLAST Slam VII Grand Final

LGD Gaming defeated BetBoom Team in the lower bracket final of the BLAST Slam VII playoffs and advanced to the tournament’s grand final.
LGD Gaming finished the match with a 2-1 score. On the first map, after securing lane advantages, the South Americans denied BetBoom Team any breathing room, allowing them to claim the first point in the series. The second game was evenly matched, but in a fight at their base, BB managed to turn the tide and eliminate their opponents twice. On the final map, BB Team was unable to withstand their opponents’ fast-paced Kez and Timbersaw.
Thus, BetBoom Team exits the competition and finishes in 3rd place, while LGD Gaming advances to the grand final, where they will face Team Yandex for the BLAST Slam VII trophy.
The BLAST Slam VII Grand Final will take place today in an offline format at the BLAST studio, located in the Danish capital, Copenhagen. The main prize for the competition is $300,000 for the winner and $100,000 for the club, while second place comes with $150,000 for the winner and $45,000 for the organization.
