Malady commented on the victory over Team Spirit in the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs

Team Yandex support player Arman “Malady” Orazbaev spoke on the team’s Telegram channel about their victory over Team Spirit in the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs.
Hey everyone. Our match against Team Spirit took place yesterday. As you know, we beat them 2-0. What can I say about the games? I think they turned out to be pretty easy. I’m glad they gave me Undying twice. I think we prepared well for the draft, too, and the games went without any major issues. The real challenges will likely start tomorrow, because tomorrow we’re playing against PARIVISION.
And honestly, I think this match is a 50-50 shot—we could easily win, and so could they. I think PARIVISION is currently one of the strongest teams in this tournament, and the matches will be very exciting. So yeah, tune in to the matches and watch us play.
Team Yandex defeated Team Spirit 2–0 in the quarterfinals of the Esports World Cup 2026 Dota 2 playoffs. Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov finished the tournament in 5th–8th place, earning $70,000 in prize money and 200 EWC club points, while Team Yandex continued its quest for the championship in the semifinals.
