Malady on PARIVISION at the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2: “They’re the strongest team in this tournament right now.”

Team Yandex support player Arman “Malady” Orazbaev spoke in an interview at the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 about their loss to PARIVISION in the tournament’s semifinals.
On the loss to PARIVISION
I think our opponent, PARIVISION, was very strong. I think they’re the strongest team in this tournament right now. I think we were bound to lose this match 0-2 because we really messed up the draft in all three games. We weren’t on the same page, and we had different ideas, which is why it turned out this way.
On the drafts against PARIVISION
I think the first map, where we picked Dark Seer, was very difficult because we thought we could surprise them with that, but their draft ended up being stronger. We abandoned that idea on the second map, and we should have prioritized global heroes like Underlord, Nature’s Prophet, or Invoker, but they knew that: they stole Nature’s Prophet on the second map and Invoker on the third.
On expectations for the match against Vici Gaming
I don’t know—we’ll see. We’re happy to be here; we’re going out there to put on a good show and play good Dota 2—not like we did yesterday.
Earlier, Team Yandex midlaner Ilya “CHIRA_JUNIOR” Chirtsov commented on the loss to PARIVISION in the semifinals of the Esports World Cup 2026, noted the team’s problems due to pressure on the lanes, and explained why the team failed to speed up the game on the third map.
