MieRo on Beastmaster: “This hero is overpowered, which is why he was banned in every game.”

Кирилл Александров

BetBoom Team offlaner Matvey “MieRo” Vasyunin spoke about Beastmaster in an interview at DreamLeague Season 29, commented on the second map against Nigma Galaxy, and explained the reasons behind the temporary dip in performance following their victory at PGL Wallachia Season 8.

On Beastmaster

Beastmaster can farm a lot. This hero is overpowered, which is why he was banned in every game.

On the second map against Nigma Galaxy in the group stage

It was a great game. Our team decided we wanted to practice late-game play, so we dragged it out.

On the start of DL 29

At the start of DreamLeague, we were testing out drafts, and after Wallachia, a new patch came out and the meta shifted a bit. That’s why we lost a few matches and made some mistakes, but now everything’s back to normal.

[Question: Which heroes won’t you be picking anymore?]

I can pick any hero I’ve picked before. Mars isn’t exactly great, but he’s decent. He’s a situational hero; right now there are better options: Underlord, Pangolier—they’re stronger. But Mars is decent too.
