BetBoom Team offlaner Matvey “MieRo” Vasyunin spoke in an interview at the 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup about changes to the team’s strategies and breaks during tournaments.
On a successful group stage
I think we did a pretty good job. We’re adapting as this tournament goes on. We’ve played a lot of practice matches, played a lot of Dota 2, discussed various aspects, and yes, I think we’re confident.
On changes to the team’s strategies
Yes, we’ve tweaked our drafts a bit. I think we just added a few heroes, and that’s helped us perform really well.
On breaks during the tournament
On our team, we’re always hungry for victory. We want the chance to play all our matches on the very first day. We can play nonstop. We don’t like days off.
