Miposhka ahead of the 4th map of The International 2026 Grand Final: “There’s some excitement in the air.”
Team Spirit coach Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov stated that he has no regrets about his role in Alan “Satanic” Gallamov’s progress, while PARIVISION coach (TEAM VISION) coach, Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, explained exactly what the team improved upon after the first maps of The International 2026 Grand Final. They discussed these topics in an interview during the broadcast of the year’s biggest tournament.
On how it feels to be one map away from the championship
Miposhka: I’m a little nervous.
[Question: “You’re nervous? You, the GOAT?!”]
Of course! I’m feeling the pressure. One game left, as you say. I believe in our draft; I see the strategy. I’m confident we can win. That’s why I’m nervous—our opponent can win too; they have a solid draft strategy as well. We’ll see.
On having no regrets about Satanic’s progress
[Question: “When Satanic was just starting out, you had a good relationship with him—you helped him grow. Do you regret that?”]
Miposhka: I don’t know what “regret” means.
On preparing players for stressful situations
Puppey: I’m just sharing my insights on the reasons behind our losses and wins. We draw the right conclusions and try to win the next game by having the right answers.
On what will allow us to take the series to a fifth map
Puppey: I hope we drafted better. We understand that we can play these heroes. In previous games, the picks probably weren’t that great. Now, on the contrary, we can easily fend off attacks.
Team Spirit advanced to the Grand Final after defeating Team Liquid, BetBoom Team (BoomBoys), and Team Yandex in the lower bracket. The current score in the final match is 2–1 in favor of the “Dragons.” If they win, the team will become three-time TI champions.
