Team Spirit’s Dota 2 coach, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, commented on the team’s drafts on the second map against Team Liquid in the elimination matches at the 2026 Esports World Cup for Dota 2 via the team’s Telegram channel.
What’s there to explain? Morphling at pick 23—Ilyukha pulled it off again. Sure, they covered Beastmaster a little bit there—apparently not a super-free pick—but the game itself doesn’t seem all that complicated. Over time, I think he’ll wear everyone down.
Well, overall, the draft went almost exactly according to plan—this one, in the second game. Everything went exactly as planned, except that I expected them to pick a different hero at pick 13, but in the end I decided, “I’m going to stick to the plan anyway.” Overall, I like it—I like everything—and I hope we win.
Earlier, Team Spirit coach Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov explained the hero picks for the second map against PARIVISION, stating that the draft went almost exactly according to the team’s plan, and expressed hope for a victory.
