In a video on his YouTube channel, streamer Mikhail “Misha” Agatov analyzed the changes at Team Liquid, praised Bogdan “Batyuk” Batyuk, and discussed the future of Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Tahasomi at Astra Invicta and the influence of Vitaly “Save-” Melnik on BetBoom Team.
I’d like to point out just how heavy a burden Malr1ne has taken on. Apparently, no one knew except me that Wisper doesn’t speak English—he simply doesn’t understand it, either in-game or after the game. Just a couple of basic words. When we played against OG, we translated for him into Spanish because we had Spanish-speaking players on our team—Timado and Ceb, who both know Spanish. And in the end, he never actually learned English. <…>
I’ll be watching with great interest to see if Liquid can even make this roster work. Because, in fact, the team has shifted from a strictly English-speaking squad with Nisha to a half-Spanish, half-English-speaking team with Wisper and without Nisha—which already doesn’t sound as confident as one would like.
It’s even more surprising that Malr1ne didn’t end up on Team Yandex, but the truth is, CHIRA_JUNIOR has been playing so well lately that I can only give him respect for his awesome gameplay. A lot of people had their doubts about him—myself included—but his play suggests that he might actually be just as good as Malr1ne, no joke, so it’s not that easy to change someone like that.
Batyuk drives me crazy because he plays incredibly well. And there’s nothing I can do about it. I’m not saying he plays better than Collapse or anything like that. But he looks like a very strong Tier 1 player. I’m not kidding—I’ve been watching his performance, and he’s just destroying Nightfall. He makes Nightfall go 0-10. <…> And honestly, in all his games—the last ten games he’s played for Team Spirit—he’s been incredible. Well, I don’t know—this guy is super dangerous. Absolutely super dangerous.
KuroKy, judging by the results, is leaving in a couple of days once this tournament [PARI UNIVERSE by FISSURE. — Ed.] is over. That’s how it is. If not, I’ll be surprised.
I’m not sure Save- is losing these games on his own. I’m not sure about that. You know what I mean? It’s like it’s a team effort. Anyway, guys, I don’t know how to put this, but I’m not sure BB Team is losing because Save- is a bad mid laner, or because Save- is playing two camps. It feels like the problem runs a little deeper, but I’m not sure.
Earlier, Misha commented on 1w Team’s slump. “Personally, I’m concerned about this team’s discipline. They might be the team with the worst approach to the game in the entire pro scene,” Agatov said.
