Natsumi on the match against Nikko: “They’re a typical opponent. Our approach is to keep our emotions in check during the match.”

OG’s Kerry John Anthony “Natsumi-” In an interview during the official broadcast of the Southeast Asia qualifiers for The International 2026, Vargan commented on his team’s qualification for the tournament of the year and explained why the team started the final series with a loss.
On his emotions after qualifying for TI
It’s been a while since I’ve played at The International, so everything’s great.
On the game against Nikko in the slot match
I didn’t feel any particular emotions about that during the game. He’s just another opponent. That’s our approach: not letting emotions get the better of us during a match. Nothing out of the ordinary.
On qualifying for both of the year’s biggest tournaments
I’m really happy. I don’t even know how many months we’ve been giving it our all. I’m glad to be qualifying for these tournaments.
On the first map against Grind Back
Based on the heroes, we knew it would be tough in the late game. They have an extremely defensive playstyle, so it’s hard to catch them off guard. That’s exactly what happened—we couldn’t finish the game with our heroes.
On not getting tired from long games
Kerry is always happy to farm creeps.
OG secured the only slot allocated for Southeast Asia. In the match for a slot at The International 2026, the Philippine team defeated Grind Back 3–1. In July, the team will compete at the Esports World Cup 2026.
