No[o]ne on Techies: “The current version is for idiots.”

PARIVISION midlaner Vladimir “No[o]ne-” Minenko spoke in an interview at BLAST SLAM VIII about his role in preparing the team for matches and shared his thoughts on Techies’ hero.

On whether he’s involved in preparing for opponents

Not really. I don’t think that’s my job. Usually my supports keep an eye on the wards, and Puppey tells us what’s going to happen in the game. So I just chill.

On the hero he’d like to see removed

It’s Techies.

On what makes Techies a strong hero

There’s nothing you can do against him. Sometimes you can’t kill heroes because his second ability is broken—it lasts 6 seconds. You can’t attack any target. Plus, there are the mines: you can’t even get close to enemies under Smoke of Deceit to kill them.

On whether the current Techies is weaker than his old version

To be honest, I’m not sure. The old Techies was unplayable on the professional scene. In pub games, he was a disaster, but pros didn’t pick him because he was too easy to outplay. I’d say the current version is for idiots.
