Team Spirit support Alexey “not me” Kosmyinin shared his thoughts on winning the championship and cited the reason for the team’s success in an interview following their victory at The International 2026.
On how it feels to win
It’s awesome—not that I experienced anything supernatural, but I’m just as happy about it as I would be in real life. It’s just awesome; I’m thrilled about the victory. It really was a hard-fought win. I just feel pure joy. That’s it.
On his dream after the victory
I want people to just log into Dota 2 to play. I just want them to play Dota more often because I’m part of it.
On the reason for success
I don’t know, it’s just random. Yatoro is a god, that’s all. [And the other three, just thrown in for good measure?] Well, the rest of us definitely tried our best, but Yatoro is a god. Everyone else is just a demigod.
On future plans
Well, to take a break and just keep playing at the same pace, do my best.
On a possible loss of motivation
Nah, it’s fine—as long as it’s fun, we’ve got to keep at it.
On Miposhka’s influence
Yarik has taught us a lot in terms of heroes, hero pool, ward placement, and understanding our role in team fights—specifically, what we need to do in a team fight.
