NS-ART asked Valve and PGL to reconsider their selection of community streams in Brazilian Portuguese

Former professional player and streamer Felipe “NS-ART” Costa published an open letter to the organizers of major tournaments, asking them to reconsider their selection of Brazilian community streams.
I’d like to take this opportunity to address Valve and PGL: the Brazilian audience deserves high-quality broadcasts. We prove our value at every event—we have passionate fans, strong engagement metrics, and skilled professionals. It is my sincere hope that this year’s selection of community streams in Brazilian Portuguese will be reconsidered, and who knows—perhaps in the future, Brazil will once again be among the countries with official broadcasts.
This is a respectful request. We will continue our work regardless of the decision. I will be eternally grateful to Dota 2: this game is my life, just as it is a part of the history of thousands of Brazilians. We are here to rebuild and start all over again.
Felipe linked this request to LGD Gaming’s selection for The International 2026. He also mentioned the Esports World Cup accounts.
Earlier, Brazilian caster Pablo “Kaxanga” Oliveira assessed the current state of the local commentary scene. In his opinion, it has ceased to exist in its full form—not only in Dota 2, but across all esports disciplines.
