OmaR on KuroKy: “He shared his experience and wisdom with me more than anyone else.”

Nigma Galaxy player Omar “OmaR” Mugrabi spoke in an interview at the 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup about what Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Tahasomi taught him, while Cedric “Davai” Dekmin spoke about his family’s influence on his career and the tournament in France.
About KuroKy
[From which of all the Nigma Galaxy rosters did you learn the most?] OmaR: Probably KuroKy. He shared his experience and wisdom with me more than anyone else. I’m very grateful to have had the chance to work with him, and he really taught me a lot.
[In the game or in life?] I think both. I’ve grown a lot as a player, and he’s taught me a lot as a friend—outside of the game. One problem has been dragging on for two years now. I need to be patient: I have a slight tendency to rush things, so I need to be much more patient—both in the game and outside of it.
About Davai’s family
Davai: I still play a lot of Dota 2, but there’s almost no time left for anything else outside of it. And that’s great. When you have a little child—your own—who’s always happy to see you… The last two months, since my daughter was born, have definitely been the happiest of my life. Even though my wife had a tough time during the postpartum period at times, it’s still a wonderful feeling—to have a family.
In fact, I’ve been trying to balance my life for the past few years: of course, I’d like to have more time for myself, my family, and my hobbies, but I’ve tried very hard to maintain at least some kind of balance. So becoming a father isn’t some drastic change for me right now. I used to spend time with my family and my wife before, and my outlook on life hasn’t changed that much—my family has always come first for me. It’s just that now I’m much happier. It’s incredible. I’m more motivated.
And one more thing: it’s become much harder to get upset. It’s easier for me to bounce back from a loss at a tournament—you realize that’s not what matters most. All I have to do is grab my phone, watch a video of my daughter, and it works like a cheat code.
About France
Davai: It’s a wonderful place. For me, it’s almost like a home tournament: I live in Belgium and speak French pretty well. I like the language, plus I have a lot of friends here and probably quite a few fans from France. So attending a LAN here is a real pleasure.
