Online Dota 2 player count exceeded 1,000,000 after The International 2026
Dota 2 online concurrent players reached 1,003,965 following the grand final of The International 2026. The statistics were reported by the news site SteamDB.
This is the highest concurrent player count since October 2022, when 1,038,848 players were online in Dota 2 at the same time; however, the game’s matchmaking system is currently down, and it is impossible to find a match.

Earlier, Aurora Gaming support player Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov commented on Team Spirit’s victory in the grand final of The International 2026, which took place in Shanghai: “When Team Spirit wins The International, it breathes new life into Dota 2.”
