REKONIX has been eliminated from the Dota 2 Future Games 2026

REKONIX lost to Yakult Brothers in the decisive playoff round of the 2026 Games of the Future Dota 2 tournament. The match ended with a score of 1-2.
Based on the lane play on the first map, YB took the lead, but starting at the 30-minute mark, RKX seized the initiative and gradually built up their advantage—by the end of the game, their lead had reached nearly 50,000 gold. Throughout the second game, the Indonesian team held the economic lead, which ultimately led to their victory. On the third map, the lead changed hands multiple times, but by the end of the game, it remained with Yakult Brothers.
As a result, RKX finished in 9th–12th place, earning $25,000, while YB advanced to the quarterfinals, where they will face Vici Gaming.
The 2026 Dota 2 Games are taking place from July 31 to August 5 in Astana, with a total prize pool of $1,000,000. This is the third tournament in the series; in 2025, the event was held in Abu Dhabi, and in 2024, it took place in Kazan.
