REKONIX on their TI qualifier loss: “Our dream of The International 2026 is on hold for now”
REKONIX representatives have summarized their performance in the Southeast Asia qualifiers for The International 2026. A post detailing their results was published on the team’s X page.
Thank you to Rekofams, as well as all the Dota fans in Indonesia who supported us with such enthusiasm. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure a spot at The International 2026 in this qualifier.
Our dream of competing at The International 2026 has been put on hold for now. However, the journey we’ve taken together won’t be forgotten. We’ll learn from this experience and take all the support we’ve received to heart to become stronger. Keep believing in us, keep your heads up, and we respect each and every one of you. <...>
REKONIX lost to Grind Back in the lower bracket of the Southeast Asia qualifiers for The International 2026. Next, the Indonesian team will compete in the Esports World Cup 2026—the Dota 2 tournament will take place from July 7 to 19.
