Rune Eaters defeated PlayTime in the group stage of the Games of the Future 2026 Dota 2 tournament

Rune Eaters defeated PlayTime on the second day of the group stage of the 2026 Games of the Future in Dota 2.

Abdimalik “Malik” Saylau’s team secured the victory over PlayTime, dominating both maps and leaving their opponents no chance to turn the series around.

As a result, Rune Eaters advances to the quarterfinals of the playoffs, while PlayTime will compete in the “last chance” round.

The Games of the Future 2026 Dota 2 Championship is taking place from July 31 to August 5 in Astana, Kazakhstan. Sixteen teams are competing for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
