Rune Eaters has been eliminated from EPL Masters I in Dota 2

Rune Eaters lost to Level UP 1-2 in the lower bracket of the EPL Masters I playoffs and were eliminated from the online tournament.

On the first map, Level UP entered the mid-game with a slight lead in total gold. Although the team didn’t immediately manage to capitalize on it, they took control of the game starting at the 34-minute mark. The turning point came during a team fight at the 30-minute mark, which allowed Sergey “sbdush” Fatullaev’s team to take the lead and subsequently tie the series. The third map ended with a score of 48–38 in favor of Level UP.

RE finished in third place following their performance in the tournament and earned $13,000. Level UP will face Natus Vincere for the championship title.

The first tournament of the EPL Masters series is taking place from July 26 to August 12, with a prize pool of $100,000. As of now, all places below second have been decided; the champion will receive $50,000, and the runner-up will receive $25,000.
