Satanic on Puppey: “He just prepares a lot, and he has a wide range of strategies for how his opponents might play.”

In an interview with the YouTube channel TBD DOTA, PARIVISION’s Alan “Satanic” Galliamov discussed the team’s coach’s approach to drafts and named the stronger hero in the Lone Druid and Phantom Lancer pairing.
On how Puppey approaches drafts
I’d say everything in those games was based on comfort—everyone played whatever they were comfortable with. He just prepares a lot, and he has a lot of different scenarios in mind for what the enemies might do. I mean, to be honest, I didn’t expect them to pick Dark Seer on the first map at all, but it wasn’t a surprise to him at all, because I sit right next to him, sometimes I watch what he’s doing, and we chat with him there, but the fact that they’d pick Dark Seer was unexpected.
On whether he learns a lot from Puppey when it comes to drafts
No, I just discuss the draft with him. I know a thing or two about drafts; we just talk about it.
On who’s stronger, Phantom Lancer or Lone Druid
Lone Druid is definitely stronger. Yeah, you really prove who’s the real deal if you can beat him. It’s like Monkey King’s passive—and it doesn’t reset.
Earlier, PARIVISION players Alan “Satanic” Galliamov and Evgeny “Noticed” Ignatenko spoke about their performance at the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2, assessed Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin’s gameplay, shared their expectations for the upcoming update, and named some easy heroes for climbing the ranks.
