Former pro player and two-time TI runner-up Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp noted on X the dominance of Eastern European teams in the playoffs of The International 2026.
It’s pretty crazy to see that the entire top 4 at TI 2026 consisted exclusively of teams from Eastern Europe. Given that most of the new generation of players come from there, their success was entirely predictable, but to take all four spots in the top four—that’s really impressive.
