shiro on Aghanim’s Scepter for Spectre: “Control combined with cooldown reduction has a powerful effect.”
Vici Gaming’s Kerry “shiro” Xuanan commented on purchasing Aghanim’s Scepter for Spectre and discussed the match against BetBoom Team in an interview at the 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup.
On Aghanim’s Scepter on Spectre
It might not be the most common choice in professional matches, but I’ve played a lot of matchmaking on European servers, and there, this item is picked quite often on Spectre. Overall, it’s not really that unusual a purchase. The crowd control combined with the cooldown reduction on the ultimate has a powerful effect.
