SirActionSlacks on Team Resilience: “They’re a really cool team; they look incredibly strong.”

Content creator and host Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner spoke about Yaroslav Naidenov’s return to Team Spirit and commented on the results of the closed qualifiers for The International 2026 in South America and China.
On Miposhka’s return
Miposhka is now just an assistant coach—what a shame. After all, he openly said that the grueling grind of being a pro player no longer appeals to him. So, no matter how much they pay him, rest assured—it’s all for Team Spirit’s appearances at the EWC and TI.
On the outcome of the Chinese qualifiers
Team Resilience dominated the qualifiers without losing a single map. And, it must be said, for those who don’t follow Chinese Dota, this is a huge achievement. China is frankly lacking in new talent and rising stars, but this team has them. These are zzq, Erika, and Echo—players who have been on the pro scene since around 2018 but haven’t achieved major results until now. Plus, the roster includes niu and planet—two players I’ve considered my favorites on the Chinese scene for many years now. So yes, this is a really awesome team; they look incredibly strong and are simply sweeping aside all their opponents. Keep an eye on them at TI.
Another team heading to Shanghai is Vici Gaming. This is perhaps the only Chinese team that has shown any signs of life this year, unlike Xtreme Gaming. I’m incredibly happy that the guys from VG made it to Shanghai. And I really hope that at least one of these teams makes it out of the group stage.
On the South American qualifiers
China’s back in the game, baby! LGD defeated Playtime—a team made up of South American players who found themselves out of a spot—and now this roster officially becomes your South American team at The International, competing under the banner of the Chinese organization LGD Gaming. KJ’s dream, which he shared at the last The International—“I’ll come back and win TI”—simply has to come true.
As of this writing, Team Spirit is one map away from securing a spot in the year’s main tournament—the team is facing off against Nigma Galaxy in the upper bracket final of the European closed qualifier for TI 2026, with the series tied at 1-1.
