SirActionSlacks: “Team Spirit doesn’t care about winning anymore, but PARIVISION has something to prove.”
Esports event host Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner shared his thoughts on the teams competing in the BLAST SLAM VIII playoffs in a video for Thunderpick on X.
On Team Yandex and ATF
They just won PGL Wallachia last week. ATF is now on their offline roster. He’s been waiting for a chance to trash-talk his teammates for a year and a half… Four damn years! And now he’s ready! He’s hunting skiter, hunting Malr1ne. He wants to get to them all, baby! Yandex is unstoppable. A very interesting team to watch.
About Team Spirit without Collapse
Collapse is taking a break. He’s the heart and soul of the team, baby, but it’s no big deal. They’ve brought in some new guys—they’ve brought in Batyuk.
They’re crushing 1w Team in 22 minutes. Can this new version of Spirit win their fourth “Aegis”? Watch and see—you might find out.
About PARIVISION and Satanic
They’re good. They’re fired up after TI. Finish second at TI—come back stronger. Team Spirit doesn’t care about wins anymore, but PARIVISION has something to prove. And right now, they’re proving it.
Satanic is a real player. He’s now officially on the team after Team Spirit kicked his ass in the TI Grand Final.
The BLAST SLAM VIII playoffs will take place October 8–11 in Malta. Team Yandex, LGD Gaming, Aurora Gaming, and 1w Team will start in the upper bracket quarterfinals, while Team Spirit and PARIVISION will start in the semifinals.
