Before the tournament, I warned the guys not to be surprised: after every game, regardless of the result, I go up to each one and give them a fist bump. I’m trying to bond with them and build good relationships.

No one’s pushing me to do that yet. But Ws has a completely different set of heroes for the difficult lane than Ammar does, and his playstyle is different, too. That’s why I say it feels like I’m learning to play Dota all over again. Over time, I’ll definitely have to expand my hero pool.

I’d like to see the map made smaller: then heroes like Chaos Knight could really shine. Right now, it seems like brawl-oriented carries are a thing of the past. But we’ll see.

We didn’t have any practice matches at all before the tournament. Essentially, every official game now serves as practice for us. We sat down together and discussed how we want to play on the map and engage in team fights. So far, we’re just laying the foundation for our gameplay.
