Nigma Galaxy’s carry player, Said Samail “SumaiL” Hassan, spoke in an interview at the Esports World Cup 2026 about his frequent return to the carry position and commented on the recent years of setbacks.
I’m not sure, to be honest. I was sitting at home, I was asked to play carry, and I said, “Yes.” There’s no particular reason behind it.
No, I probably wouldn’t do that anyway—I don’t have time. [No time to switch positions or what?] Just no time.
I think there have been a lot of ups and downs over the past five years, so I’d say—those.
It’s pretty tough, especially when you win your first two major events, like I did. Because if you don’t win after that, whatever you do feels like a step backward. Of course, that affects your mindset, but you have to keep moving forward with support from your family and so on.
Earlier, Nigma Galaxy offlaner Cedric “Davai” Dekmin discussed the reasons behind the team’s improved performance following the arrival of Artem “lorenof” Melnik and Said Samail “SumaiL” Hassan, gave his take on Lycan, shared memories of Necronomicon, and spoke about the team’s ambitions at tournaments.
