Lee “SunBhie” Jeong-jae, a coach for professional teams, responded on X to a post by Deadlock developer Yoshi, in which Yoshi joked that the next major update would be released “in 50 years.”
Valve loves the Deadlock community the way parents love their youngest child. Dota is a 35-year-old unemployed guy who sits in the basement and pees in the sink. I don’t blame Valve. Just, please, keep stocking up on nuggets in the freezer (patches). If you’re in a good mood, bring back the soda perk (Compendium).
Today, the developers at Deadlock added one of the six previously announced characters—Solomon—to the game.
The current patch for Dota 2 is 7.41f, released in mid-September after The International 2026. With this patch, the developers fixed a number of in-game bugs, including Timbersaw’s position being revealed when using Flamethrower.
