Team 6seven and TPB3 have joined the list of participants in the closed qualifier for BLAST Slam VIII in Southeast Asia based on the results of the open stage.

The closed qualifier will take place August 29–30. Four invited teams will join the four teams from the qualifiers—their identities have not yet been revealed. Among the eight teams, one spot at BLAST Slam VIII, whose playoffs will be hosted by Malta, will be up for grabs.
