Team Falcons defeated 1w Team in the group stage of 1win Essence II in Dota 2

Team Falcons defeated 1w Team on both maps of their matchup in the group stage of 1win Essence II.

On the first map, the Falcons took a significant lead right from the laning phase, then gradually built on it until they had a lead large enough to secure the win. On the second map, 1w played more confidently in the mid-game, after which the lead changed hands several times, but ultimately remained with Curtis “Aui_2000” Ling’s team.

With this win, the Falcons climbed to the top of the group and secured their spot in the upper bracket of the playoffs.

The 1win Essence II is being held remotely from July 30 to August 5, with a $200,000 prize pool up for grabs among the participants. As of now, almost all group stage matches have been played, with the exception of the remaining two.
