Team Falcons defeated OG, and LGD Gaming beat GLYPH in the group stage of BLAST Slam VII

Team Falcons and LGD Gaming proved stronger than OG and GLYPH, respectively, in the fifth matchups of the first day of BLAST Slam VII.

Team Falcons took the lead through lane play and solidified their advantage in the mid-game. Despite a slight narrowing of the gap at the 25-minute mark, the Middle Eastern club’s players secured a 30-10 victory.

The GLYPH vs. LGD Gaming match was dominated by the latter. The South American team steadily built up an economic advantage until they closed out the game in their favor.

Thus, LGD earned its second win in the group, while the Falcons secured their first. This loss marked OG’s second consecutive defeat, and GLYPH now holds a 1-1 record.

BLAST Slam VII runs from May 26 to June 7, with participants competing for a $1 million prize pool. The tournament is divided into a remote group stage and a playoff, which will take place in the Danish capital, where the BLAST studio is located.
