Team Falcons defeated Xtreme Gaming, while LGD Gaming beat Aurora Gaming in the group stage of BLAST Slam VII

Team Falcons and LGD Gaming emerged victorious in their matches against Xtreme Gaming and Aurora Gaming, respectively, in the group stage of BLAST Slam VII.
The Middle Eastern club’s players started with a slight lead in the lanes, then steadily built on their advantage despite not having a significant lead in kills. The map ended in the 41st minute in favor of the Falcons.
The match between Aurora and LGD was dominated by the latter. The South American team led for nearly the entire game and, by the end, had nearly twice as many kills—36 to 20.
Thus, the Falcons and LGD are now vying for first place in the standings alongside Team Yandex, while XG and Aurora currently remain in the bottom half.
The group stage of BLAST Slam VII is taking place online from May 26 to 29. At this point, all participants still have a theoretical chance to advance to the playoffs or the last-chance stage. The final stage will be held in Copenhagen.
