Team Falcons withdrew from the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2

Team Falcons lost to Vici Gaming in the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs and were eliminated from the tournament.

On the first map, neither team was able to gain a significant economic advantage for a long time, but starting at the 41-minute mark, the Chinese team took control of the game, which ultimately led to their victory. On the second map, VG began to pull ahead shortly after the laning phase ended and played the game according to their plan.

As a result, the Falcons finished in 5th–8th place and earned $70,000 and 200 EWC club points.

The Esports World Cup 2026 Dota 2 tournament is taking place from July 7 to 19 in Paris, with a prize pool of $2 million. The event was originally planned to be held in the capital of Saudi Arabia, but the organizers later moved it to France.
