Team Nemesis qualified for the Esports World Cup 2026 from South America
Team Nemesis qualified for the 2026 Esports World Cup by defeating Estar Backs 3-1 in the final of the closed South American qualifier.
NMSS opened the series with a win, but the Peruvian team managed to even the score. The third map turned out to be the longest in the series, ending in the 59th minute with a victory for Filipe “Astini” Ribeiro’s squad. The final match was dominated by Nemesis, as the team amassed more than six times as many kills—44 to 7.

The Dota 2 tournament at the Esports World Cup 2026 will take place in France from July 6 to 18, with a prize pool of $2 million. The festival was originally scheduled to take place in Riyadh, but the organizers decided to move it to Paris.
