Team Synapse defeated Inner Circle at EPL Masters II in Dota 2

Team Synapse proved to be the stronger team against Inner Circle in their opening match of the EPL Masters II group stage. The match ended with a score of 2-1.

On the first map, IC got off to a better start in the mid-game, but after a few minutes, Synapse regained the lead and continued to build on their advantage, eventually winning the game. On the second map, IC evened the series, but Kasra “Mikey” Mesbah’s team played more confidently on the third map.

Thanks to this victory, Synapse climbed to the top of the standings. Both teams will continue playing tomorrow.

EPL Masters II is being held online from August 24 to September 10; the Dota 2 event’s prize pool is $100,000—half will go to the winning team, and a quarter to the runner-up. Natus Vincere won the previous tournament in the series.
