EPL Masters II Dota 2 Preview: Format, Roster, and Day 1 Schedule
Today, August 30, the group stage matches of EPL Masters II in Dota 2 will begin. The tournament format, rosters, and schedule for the upcoming day of play are detailed below.
Format
The teams are divided into two groups of six and will play each other in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, while the rest will be eliminated. The winners will then be joined by four additional teams; they will be placed in a two-tier bracket with best-of-three series, and the final will be a best-of-three series.
