Team Yandex and Aurora Gaming defeated Team Spirit and Tundra Esports, respectively, in the group stage of BLAST Slam VII.

Team Yandex took the lead based on lane play and subsequently continued to build on their advantage. By the 34th minute, when the game ended, the team had pulled ahead by 29,000 gold and had killed the “Dragons” heroes 33 times.

Tundra and Aurora played evenly on the lanes, but in the mid-game, the initiative fell into the hands of the latter. From the 48th to the 53rd minute, Tundra made up more than 23,000 gold, and then strengthened its position by gaining another 10,000, which, however, was not enough for Neta “33” Shapira’s team to secure the victory.

Thus, Yandex and Aurora earned their first wins in the standings; the Dragons and Tundra started with losses.
