Team Yandex, Virtus.pro, and LGD won their matches on Day 6 of the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2

Team Yandex, Virtus.pro, and LGD Gaming defeated 1w Team, OG, and Inner Circle x Insanity, respectively, on the sixth day of the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2.

LGD Gaming confidently defeated Inner Circle x Insanity on both maps, showcasing fast-paced picks of Necrophos, Lone Druid, and Snapfire in their drafts, which the Ukrainian team was unable to counter.

Team Yandex finished their match with a 2-0 score. On the first map, Yandex dominated from the start; the second game began with a similar scenario, as 1w Team attempted a comeback, but Yandex was able to close out the series at the 60-minute mark.

Both maps in the Virtus.pro vs. OG series were evenly matched, but the “Bears” managed to turn the tide in their favor on each one. The match ended with a 2-0 score and lasted over two hours.

Thus, Virtus.pro, 1w Team, and LGD Gaming advance to the survival round, Team Yandex moves on to the tournament’s playoffs, and OG is eliminated from the competition.

Twelve teams will compete in the survival round, which begins tomorrow, and only eight will advance to the playoffs. The Esports World Cup 2026 is taking place from July 7 to 19 in an offline format in Paris, the capital of France. The prize pool totals $2,000,000 and 3,550 EWC Championship points.
