The Peruvian Esports Federation will replace the suspended national team members for the 2026 Esports Nations Cup in Dota 2

Representatives of the Peruvian Esports Federation (FPE) have issued a statement regarding substitutions for the upcoming 2026 Dota 2 Esports Nations Cup in light of ongoing investigations into the involvement of certain national team members in “322.”
According to the federation, the organizers have clarified that suspended players may only be replaced by those who were originally registered on the roster. The Peruvian national team has named Christian Anthony “Pakazs” Savin Casanova and Mario Ulyanov Ilich “ILICH-” Romero Valdivia as substitutes. Additionally, discussions are underway with the organizers regarding a replacement coach in accordance with the competition rules.
Federation representatives separately emphasized that these decisions are related to the suspension of the participants and do not imply that the FPE acknowledges their guilt. The announcement does not specify whether this also applies to the national team’s mid laner, Santiago Gustavo “TaiLung” Olivose Agüero, who has been banned from competing in The International 2026 and PGL tournaments.
In mid-July, the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) suspended Oswaldo Gonzalo “DarkMago” Herrera Martínez and Juan David “Vintage” Angulo Nicho from tournaments under its auspices pending an investigation.
