Valve initially added $1.6 million to the TI 2026 prize pool. Last year, the developers raised the percentage of sales allocated to the prize pool from 25% to 30%—this year, it has remained at the same level.
The International 2026 will take place from August 13 to 23 in Shanghai, China. Sixteen teams will compete in the season-ending championship, battling for the title and a total prize pool of at least $2.1 million.
