The second chapter of “Dark Carnival” will begin on July 10—release dates for the following chapters
“Dark Carnival” is a new story-driven event in Dota 2 that offers various rewards for completion. Valve has divided the event into several parts.
“Dark Carnival” Dates
- Chapter One — June 25.
- Chapter 2 — July 10.
- Chapter 3 — July 24.
The Dark Carnival interactive map is designed in the shape of a train. Initially, players have access to the prison car and the smelter car; in two weeks, the airship and the freight car will unlock; and in the final stage, the boiler car and the lead car will become available.
To progress through the story, you must earn special tickets—these are awarded for participating in regular matches. Rewards include discount coins for the event shop, Treasure of Wonders chests, and hero sets.
Following the release of “The Dark Carnival,” dataminers discovered references in the code to upcoming automatons and “Aganim’s Labyrinth.” Lich, Lifestealer, Tidehunter, Pugna, and Sven can obtain these mechanized skins.
