On the night of September 25, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2 that introduced changes to the Rush mode rules and fixed gameplay and animation bugs.

Rush
- Added a more detailed description of the mode’s rules during the loading screen.
- Updated the rules for banning players for dealing damage to teammates.
- Adjusted various texture overlays.
Gameplay
- Fixed a bug that allowed players to speed up silent reloading by pressing the corresponding key before holding it down.
- Fixed a bug related to rapid firing of shotguns during silent reloading.
Miscellaneous
- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the AK-47 inspection animation to appear.
The previous Counter-Strike 2 update was released on September 24—at that time, the developers fixed bugs in Rush mode and silent reload animations, and also made changes to the new crosshair system.
