Valve has removed the ability to watch matches of players with a rating above 8,500 MMR via friends

Team Spirit analyst Mark “sikle” Lerman, shared on his personal Telegram channel that in the latest Dota 2 update, Valve removed the ability to watch matches of players with an MMR above 8,500 via the friends list and also corrected the description of one of Io’s abilities.

- The ability to watch games by right-clicking on a friend and selecting “Watch Game” has been removed if the player has an MMR >8,500. This is the first measure to protect player data. Dota TV is still working.
- Fixed the description of Io’s [Level 10 talent]: it previously stated that it “adds +50 damage against heroes from Spirits.” Now: “adds +50% damage from Spirits” (which is how it has always worked).
Earlier, Team Spirit analyst Mark “sikle” Lerman discussed a bug fix related to Doom, which prevented purchasing Aghanim’s Shard from increasing the radius of auras from neutral creeps obtained via the Devour ability.
