Team Spirit analyst Mark “sikle” Lerman, shared on his personal Telegram channel that in the latest Dota 2 update, Valve removed the ability to watch matches of players with an MMR above 8,500 via the friends list and also corrected the description of one of Io’s abilities.

The quote is reproduced with the source’s spelling and punctuation intact

  • The ability to watch games by right-clicking on a friend and selecting “Watch Game” has been removed if the player has an MMR >8,500. This is the first measure to protect player data. Dota TV is still working.
  • Fixed the description of Io’s [Level 10 talent]: it previously stated that it “adds +50 damage against heroes from Spirits.” Now: “adds +50% damage from Spirits” (which is how it has always worked).

Earlier, Team Spirit analyst Mark “sikle” Lerman discussed a bug fix related to Doom, which prevented purchasing Aghanim’s Shard from increasing the radius of auras from neutral creeps obtained via the Devour ability.
