Vici Gaming has been eliminated from the 2026 Future Games Dota 2 tournament

Vici Gaming lost to Yakult Brothers in the quarterfinals of the Games of the Future 2026 playoffs and was eliminated from the tournament. The match ended with a score of 1-2.
On the first map, VG played more confidently on the lanes and gradually built up their lead in the mid-game until they secured the victory at the 32-minute mark. On the second map, neither team was able to gain an advantage during the laning phase; but YB subsequently took control of the situation and played aggressively, tying the series. In the third game, Wang “Yakult” Hao’s team showed greater confidence, with their core players going deathless for a long time.
As a result, Vici Gaming finished in 5th–8th place and earned $35,000.
The Dota 2 tournament as part of the 2026 Games of the Future is taking place from July 31 to August 5, and its prize pool is $1 million—five times more than last year and the same as in 2024. Another team will be eliminated from the event today.
