The first day of group stage matches at the 2026 Games of the Future Dota 2 tournament has concluded. Match results and the schedule for August 1 are detailed below.

Thus, Yellow Submarine, Vici Gaming, Rune Eaters, PlayTime, GLYPH, Zero Tenacity, REKONIX, and Xtreme Gaming all started the tournament with a 1-0 record—they will face off against each other for a spot in the playoff quarterfinals. The losing teams will now face off in elimination matches.

The 2026 Dota 2 Games are taking place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, from July 31 to August 1. Sixteen teams are participating in the group stage, four of which will be eliminated at the end of this stage. The total prize pool for the tournament is $1,000,000.
